Holiday Season Update

This holiday season has been very busy and productive for Conscious Alliance, with our annual holiday meal and toy deliveries. Through our Annual Holiday Meal Delivery we were able to once again distribute more than 10,000 meals to families in need this holiday season. Throughout November we delivered multiple truckloads of food which benefited community members on Pine Ridge and Northern Cheyenne Reservations, and local families in Denver, CO.

Along with the meal deliveries we were able to incorporate sponsored programs at each reservation, which focused on the youth.  At Pine Ridge we worked with  “Tiny D” and the B.E.A.R. Crew, a local youth empowerment group who focuses on suicide prevention. On Northern Cheyenne, we had the pleasure of working with longtime supporters Phillip Whiteman Jr. and Lynette TwoBulls of Yellow Bird Inc. to sponsor their Medicine Wheel Model program which focuses on a circular holistic wellness model. The philosophy teaches us the energy we put out to the universe is reflected back to us. The Medicine Wheel Model is a guide to help us find balance in our lives and to understand how our actions affect everything around us including all living things. We were able to reach our goal of providing 10,000 meals this holiday season thanks to all our generous supporters nationwide who contributed to our annual campaign.

We would also like to thank the Looks For Buffalo Foundation, Containerbyers, Madison House, Big Gigantic, the Fresh Ideas Group, Justin’s, WhiteWave Foods, and Annie’s Homegrown Organic who helped to make this years Holiday Meal Deliveries a success.

The team just returned from our Annual Holiday Toy Delivery. We distributed more than 2,000 total toys to Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana and Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. We were also able to help distribute more than 1,000 toys to the local Denver area thanks to the help of our partners at the Stronghold Society and the Lakota Way Healing Center. All of this was made possible by the generous donation of toys from JAKK’S Pacific.

Together we have made a positive difference in the lives of so many this holiday season.

Thank you, from the Conscious Alliance team.
