CA Team on the Road

Conscious Alliance team with the
STS9 West Coast Tour poster!

The first four shows of STS9’s Winter/Spring 2013 Tour were a blast and our ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drives have been a huge success! So far we have been able to collect and distribute over 4,000 meals! The Conscious Alliance Team is now gearing up for the next four shows in Chico CA, Stateline NV, Oakland CA, and Los Angeles CA.

HUNGER IN THESE COMMUNITIES

Did you know that 25.9% of the population in Chico CA was living below the poverty level in 2009, and 15.4% of children in the community were living below the poverty level? In Chico we will donate food to the Community Action Agency of Butte County, which collects and distributes more than 1.7 million pounds of food to approximately 8,800 persons annually. Did you know that 23% of the population in Stateline NV was living below the poverty level in 2009, and 20% of children in the community were living below the poverty level? In Stateline we will donate food to the Food Bank of El Dorado County, which distributes over $2.5 million of food for the hungry of El Dorado County each year.
