TRiPP
Tripp began collecting posters in high school. His first screen print poster was for Phish’s Clifford Ball nearly 14 years ago. Tripp has screen printed over 300 posters since the fall of 2002. He has printed official posters for The Disco Biscuits, Boombox, RAQ, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, and Toubab Krewe. Nearly all designs are hand-drawn. Tripp silk-screens using acrylics on watercolor paper. All prints are printed, by hand, using a manual press, laying on each color separately. Each print is hand signed and numbered. He is most inspired by traveling and music and has been touring regularly within the live music scene since 1997. Tripp can still be found printing on site at many festivals and shows. Tripp focuses heavily on his businesses, Graphics Taboot & Taboot Art, based in Denver. He does commercial screen-printing as well as the Taboot Art limited edition art clothing line of t-shirts and hoodies. He hopes to further his art until it reaches heightened levels and to encourage others to do the same.
