Todd Shepherd
Fine artist, musician, and galactic citizen, Tourmaline Todd’s perspective on art has been greatly influenced through sound, nature, travel, and he tries to share a world not constricted by the forces of gravity. Todd’s work also explores unseen energies that surround us all by mixing rich color-scapes with familiar human and surreal forms. Many of Todd’s works are created in the moment of live music performances, capturing the energy of the environment in his works. His unconventional choice of medium includes found and recycled objects as well as the tools of the house painter and graffiti artist. The present finds him exploring new techniques involving screen printing and new ways to display his ideas including public street art. In the next five years he hopes to be involved in clothing and jewelry design as well as finding his way into local reputable galleries and larger projects around the world
