Lost Optical
Based out of Denver, CO, Lost Optical is the electronic production trio of Jason Kale, Matt Carroll, and Steven Kuzma. These three musicians have been collaborating on tracks for less than a year and have already created an intriguing and electrifying sound all their own. Their live show brings audience members a unique harmony between live band and PA performance, fusing live instrumentation with meticulously composed production. A live set from Lost Optical moves with emotion and intention, laying out a dynamic spectrum of sound ranging from dub and drum & bass to hip hop and electro. This variety of sound is showcased vibrantly in the trio’s debut EP, Seity, a six-track release that epitomizes the band’s desire to craft a diverse listening experience. Sonic Bloom 2011 in Georgetown, CO featured Lost Optical performing live on stage for the first time after hustling hard to take first place in theUntz.com’s Sonic Bloom contest. Since then the band has booked shows in and around the Front Range and plans on spreading their sound to the rapidly evolving electronic scene. They are currently in studio working on new material that will be released throughout the winter and spring of 2012.
