Conscious Alliance would
like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone in the
STS9 community who has, since fall 2002,
supported our food drives and the “Art that Feeds
Project.”
Over the last six years we have organized and hosted food
drives to benefit local America’s Second Harvest Food
Banks at nearly every STS9 concert throughout the United
States. The success of Conscious Alliance is directly related
to the good nature and generosity of the entire STS9 community
- the band, who believed in Conscious Alliance when it was
only still an “idea”; the amazing group of artists,
who supported our effort by creating concert posters that
were used as incentives for fans to donate 10 food items
in every city they played; and the fans, who stepped up
to donate nearly 100,000 pounds of food for Americans in
need.
The hard work and dedication of hundreds of volunteers and
thousands of supporters has helped the Conscious Alliance,
now a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, to reach our first
major goal: to collect and distribute 1,000,000 pounds of
food. THANK YOU!
This goal was recently achieved, in part, through the support
of our new partnership with Whole Foods Market.

Over the past two months, Conscious Alliance has received
over 700,000 pounds of food donations from Whole Foods Market®,
that will be distributed to some of the most impoverished
communities in the United States.
In order to make this opportunity and mission a reality,
Conscious Alliance has changed our organizational strategy;
this restructuring, and changes in our national economy,
will impact how we solicit the support of STS9 Community.
The Conscious Alliance will NOT BE HOSTING FOOD DRIVES at
STS9 shows during the 2008 Summer Tour. Instead,
STS9 will support the ongoing efforts of Conscious Alliance
by donating $10,000 from this summer’s ticket sales!
These funds will be used specifically for food distribution.
But we still need your involvement. Stay tuned to the STS9
website for information detailing specific events/shows
that Conscious Alliance’s “Art that Feeds Project”
WILL BE hosting food-drives. Conscious Alliance will still
be present with an information table at most of this summer’s
shows, and a limited edition Conscious Alliance tour poster
by Kathryn
Rogers, will be available for purchase, with
all money going to support our food distribution efforts.
Thank you all for your continued support in feeding the
hungry everywhere the music plays! The Conscious Alliance
has the opportunity to truly make a difference in fighting
hunger in America. This would never have been possible without
the support of STS9 and the community of artists, fans,
and volunteers that surround them.
