The String Cheese Incident
and Conscious Alliance are proud to announce that we will
be hosting the 6th Annual Winter Carnival Food Drive to
benefit our emergency food pantry on the Pine Ridge Indian
Reservation, in SD. There will be two unique series
of limited-edition posters, a 3-Panel set for the Fillmore
and a 2-Panel set for Vail, each are free to every patron
that donates 10 non-perishable food items per panel!
Artists, Roman
Villagrana, and Robert
Marx will be creating the posters for these last Winter
Carnival events, so make sure to get them while they last.
Since 2002, the Conscious Alliance has collected over 130,000
lbs. of food at String Cheese Incident concerts throughout
the United States. The Fillmore Auditorium was home to the
first food drives and also our most successful. This
year, with your help, we hope to have our biggest food drives
ever and collect over 10,000 lbs. of food!
Donation bins will be located outside of the main entrance
to each venue, where a food drive volunteer will exchange
poster redemption vouchers for food donations. The posters
can be redeemed any time during or after the show at the
Conscious Alliance table, located inside the venue.
The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations
to be low-sodium health food oriented products. Donations
of Ramen Noodles cannot be exchanged for free posters.
Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry
everywhere the music plays!
