ROTHBURY and Conscious Alliance are partnering
to host a FOOD DRIVE at the event. ROTHBURY attendees are
encouraged to bring non-perishable and canned food items
to donate. All food donations will be distributed locally
to benefit the Muskegon, MI Shiloh Tabernacle grocery relief
program and the Word of Life PPHC Food Distribution Center
of Oceana County, MI.
Attendees who donate 10 non-perishable food items will be
given a limited edition ROTHBURY Conscious Alliance rock
art poster by artist, Jeff Wood (www.DrowningCreekStudios.com).
Patrons who donate 20 or more food items will receive the
same limited poster in 3-D!! There will be drop off points
located at campground entrances, where donations are exchanged
for a stub that can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance
Tent, located inside the festival grounds in the Energy
Fair. These locations will be depicted on the Festival Guide
Map.
Don’t miss “Conscious CanSculpture” at
ROTHBURY. Conscious Alliance, together with Whole
Foods Market will attempt to set a new world
record in the Guinness Book of World Records for the ‘World’s
Largest Canned Food Sculpture.’ This spectacular piece
of architecture, designed by John Brittingham, will be on
display throughout the weekend at ROTHBURY. The sculpture
will help draw attention to the relationship between hunger
and our environment, and will also generate approximately
40,000 cans of food to be donated locally!
The Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations
to be low-sodium and health oriented products. “Organic”
food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN
NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster.
